Elements of Soulful Reflections:

“Acts 4: Igniting our Faith to Speak Jesus with Confidence.”

Acts 4:33 “And with great power, the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all.”

Peter and John witnessed Jesus firsthand along with his death and resurrection. Jesus knew it was up to his apostles to spread the news in order for the world to hear, beyond generations and generations to come. Even if those moments, the Pharisees tried to quiet the apostles. Even to this day, believers are mocked and persecuted for believing and sharing Christ with others. Since day 1, the enemy has tried relentlessly to prevent the gospel from being shared and reaching the lost. It is up to the whole body of Christ to push through the spiritual warfare, through the government and the resistance, and walk in the authority of the Holy Spirit. This world is broken, full of hatred, greed, division, and war. It’s in desperate need of a savior. Every believer has a mission as a follower of Christ, and that’s to boldly share the word of God with as many souls that may not know about Jesus and his gift to the world of eternal salvation.

Fear can prevent followers from reaching their fullest potential spiritually by not speaking boldly. Has there ever been a time in your life that you felt compelled to share Jesus with another person, but became reluctant for whatever reason? I know I have. Fear is a huge tactic used by the enemy to throw us off track from leading others to Christ. We can be the difference in the world, the impact in the kingdom of God. It is in our boldness that the Holy Spirit comes to give you the words to speak in that appointed time and grace is upon all who believe and testify of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Acts 4: 31 “And when they had prayed, the place in which they gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.”

The Word of God teaches us truth and the fullness of the resurrection. It is a guide for us to follow Jesus wholeheartedly and faithfully, a weapon for spiritual warfare, and a resource for followers to better understand how to lead others to accepting Christ as their Savior. It is only by Christ that we can obtain eternal salvation. It is up to every believer to pass on the message of the Gospel that started with apostles after the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Acts 4:12 “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
