Elements of Soulful Reflections:

Grace Given

Jesus Christ came into the world to preach the gospel, to save sinners, and to do the will of the Father for the world to see. He gave his life as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins, liberating all who repent and accept Christ as their savior. He carried the weight of our burdens and sin to the cross. On the third day, Jesus rose again to show others that death was not the end, that he continues to live for us and inside of all believers. This is the resurrection truth that Jesus Christ is Lord and Messiah. The cross symbolizes the way by allowing us to die to our old way of life and to be raised in the newness of life. Jesus’s death redeems us from the enslavement of sin.

If you have decided to give your life to God and you don’t know where to start, you can repeat this prayer, “I believe that Jesus Christ died upon the cross for my sins and that he rose again. He paid the ultimate price, and I ask for forgiveness as I declare with my mouth and heart that Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I pray that I be given a new life with a renewed mind and heart. Lord, breathe new life into me as you live through me from this day forward. Amen.”

Romans 10:9 “If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Romans 6:8-11” And since we died with Christ, we know we will also live with him. We are sure of this because Christ was raised from the dead, and he will never die again. Death no longer has any power over him. When he died, he died once to break the power of sin. But now that he lives, he lives for the glory of God. So, you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus.”
